Kylie Styles... Transition Winter to Spring

It’s that time of year, when the weather says it is winter, but your favorite shops are starting to show the beautiful pieces for spring.  You want to brighten up your wardrobe, but you don’t want to sacrifice your body to the elements.  What’s worth freezing your gams over in below zero temps, right?  I, too, have been in such a tricky situation, but I learned that we indeed can have it all, when it comes to our personal style this time of year, and it’s easy to do!

Layering is key, it is winter after all.  I love layering a silk slip dress, like this Falcon and Bloom dress in cobalt, with warm knits and tights, especially with a cozy Autumn Cashmere or Wooden Ships sweater.

Play with pops of color. Florals, prints, and pastels are spring staples, so pair a cropped printed blouse with a great blazer and a pair of high-rise skinnies.  I love Nicole Miller prints with edgy Citizens of Humanity Carlie's and a Bobi boyfriend blazer.  Add a gorgeous Helen Wang statement necklace to complete your look.

Accessorize, accessorize, accessorize.  Throw on a wool scarf, hat, or a fur vest for a chic and easy way to keep warm.  Joggers, like this style from James Jeans, look awesome with a Fifteen Twenty lightweight spring blouse and a rabbit fur vest; my 525 America rabbit fur vests are a staple in my winter wardrobe.
Have fun and enjoy your wardrobe, even if you can’t enjoy the weather!
